Well, I thought I would write about what is going on in our world these days....
Scott's world... he kept going back and forth about getting out of the Navy and finally decided to get out and apply to the airlines. Well, the Navy has this program called FTS (Full Time Support) which means that you are a reservist, but on active duty status. You get all of the same benefits as you did before. Well, for Scott... he loves flying and teaching future Naval aviators. So he decided to apply and we just found out that he got selected. Which means that he will get to continue training Naval aviators and stay in the military until he can retire in 12 more years. This is wonderful news just after hearing about all of those airlines having problems with planes and fuel prices on the rise. We will get stationed either at NAS Pensacola or NAS Corpus Christi. We are still waiting to hear.....
Leslie's World... She continues to stay at home raising her 3 little angels and still does some embroidery on the side. She is considering going back to school to get her Masters degree.
Addie's World... She amazes us everyday. She is still in dance lessons and just started playing soccer. She loves to be creative and learn new things, so we are teaching her how to read Dick and Jane books. See Dick run.
Ayla's World.... She has just started taking off with her talking. She says.. "kak kak" (quack quack for Duck), "hop hop" for rabbit, "ribbit" for frog, "car", "baby", "woof woof" for dog, "juice", "bup" (cup), "teet teet" for bird, "choo choo" for train, "dada", "mama", "addie", "nigh nigh", "bye bye", "hi", "boat", and many many more....
Amelia's World... She is such a vocal child. Happy, but vocal. She loves to make high-pitched noises and squeals. She has been rolling over some and loves reaching for things, especially your hair. OUCH!
Our World... We are just one big happy family of 5 now. If we have to move we will be in overdrive. We have finished the floors and just have trim work to do. Then we need to paint, put new carpet in the bedrooms and then tackle the exterior and yard. We plan on renting our house out, if we have to move to Corpus.
