Santa arrived via a T-34 and then handed out presents to the kids. Addie got some Lil Pet Shop toys, Ayla got a Alphapal, and Amelia got a pull doggie. Addie had Boris the Bear from school so we just had to get a picture of them with Santa. Ayla and Amelia were both scared of the big man in the red suit. Surprise, Surpsire! They also had bounce houses, pizza and cookies to decorate! We had a great time but were so tired when we got home...then we celebrated Amelia's birthday...

A day in the life of my husband....

This past Friday was Boomerette Day at VT-27. All of the spouses were invited out to wear a flightsuit, don a helmet, and taxi a T-34. It was a blast. I now have so much more adoration for military Pilots, ....but I could never be one!

Thanksgiving 2008

Scott's cousin, Mark from Seattle, WA, joined us for Thanksgiving this year. On Wednesday, we took him and the girls to the base and showed him around a T-34C. Then we ate lunch at the Officer's Club. Wednesday night we ate seafood on the water and watched the most amazing sunset. Thursday we had a feast... Fried turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn casserole, green beans, gravy and rolls. We topped off the meal with Pumpkin and Chocolate Pecan pies. WHEW!!

Storyfest fun..

Today we went to the Storyfest in George West, TX. The girls enjoyed the petting zoo, Jolly Trolly, Jumpy House and especially the cotton candy and funnel cake.

Halloween 2008

Mom accompanied Raggedy Ann and Tinkerbell trick-or-treating while Snow White helped Dad hand out candy. She was not too happy in her costume:( Addie and Ayla had a blast and were wore out when we got back home. After having a few peices of candy, they crashed for the night.
