The Big Apple

Well, we just returned from a whirl wind of a trip to NYC. Addie was a flower girl in Scott's cousin's wedding. She was beautiful and did an outstanding job. We did not get to do much sight-seeing, but did take a stroll down to FAO Schwarz Toy Store. We also walked along the south end of Central park. The taxi driver's are crazy and the city never stops moving. The wedding was in this beautiful historic Catholic Church and the reception was on the top floor terrace of our hotel. We were very sad to leave and wished we could have seen more sights. But traveling with small children is hard, especially 7 months pregnant, so we will definitely be back to visit when they are older.

School Days

Addie is back in school again!! This is her last year of preschool, then off to Kindergarten next year. Boo Hoo. Can't believe how fast she has grown up. Ayla will stay at home with Mom and help with the new baby when she arrives.

Celebrities

Last year we went up to Murfreesboro, TN for MTSU's Homecoming game and festivities. When I got the MTSU Alumni Record yesterday, I opened it up and about fell off my chair. There was this huge picture of Scott and Ayla at last years game. How Cool!

Ride Sally Ride

Meet the newest member of the Sowles family... Sally! I guess we are official mini-vaners!! (The name was given by Addie-- from the CARS movie. We also have a red Jeep Grand Cherokee who is, of course, Lightning McQueen. Sally in the movie is a porsche... boy, I wish we had one of those!)

Ayla is on the move

It happened.. Ayla recently took her first steps. YEAH!!

Addie is turning into a true little woman.. she loves to wear jewelry, loves to put make-up on and carry purses. Can't wait to see what these next 14 years bring us...
