Scott's Promotion

Scott was promoted on September 1st, 2009.

He is now a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy.

My Preschooler

Today is Ayla's first day of preschool. She will go on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 - 2. She was SO excited to get dressed and ready this morning. I could sense that as she got to school that reality was starting to sink in.. as you can see in the pictures. I hope that she has a fun time!!

Singing in the Rain

It finally rained here on Sunday, August 30, 2009. The last time it had rained was in March 2009. The girls were so excited to see it raining so I let them run outside. I think they forgot what it felt like...

My First Grader

This is the "homework" that she did for the second day of school. It is "getting to know you" week. The "real" homework starts next week.

Well, Addie survived her first day of First Grade. Her teacher's name is Mrs. Lenert and she seems to really like her so far. I can't wait to see how much Addie learns this year!

5 days and counting..

5 more days until school starts for Addie.. she is so excited! She gets to meet her First Grade Teacher this Friday. Ayla will start preschool on Sept. 1st. She will go Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-2 p.m. She is so excited. She will be in the Frog Class and it just so happens that she has a Frog backpack. She wears it everyday. Amelia will get to stay at home with Mommy this year. I plan to put her in preschool next school year. Ah, my little babies are growing up!
