Ayla came home from preschool one day and mentioned that she had a mosquito bite on her leg. Then she complained that her leg hurt and was limping around. When she went to bed that night her whole knee was swollen. When she woke up the next morning, her thigh was swollen and it was hot to the touch, and the site was starting to bruise. So off to the Dr we go... they said that they could not tell what bit her, but the site was infected. She has been on antibiotics ever since and seems to be doing much better. (oh, just in case you were wondering, the purple-ish markings on her left thigh have been there ever since birth)

Not a good one of Addie (she looks scared), but a cute one of Tucker

Last Saturday, our good friends, Amy and Jaime (and their kids, Hayleigh and Tucker) came to Corpus for a short visit. They were stationed with us in Jacksonville, FL and were with us in Milton, FL, also. They now live in Dallas, TX. We had a great time catching up with them and the kids loved playing together.
