For Thanksgiving, Grandma and Grandpa Schlapkohl came down to visit us from Chicago. They stayed almost 1 week and it seemed like it was the fastest week ever. We ALL had a wonderful time. Grandpa and Scott went fishing on Monday while the Grandma and us girls went shopping. Tuesday it rained so Scott and I went to see a movie. Wednesday, we drove out to Port Aransas where we checked out the beach, went shopping and rode on the Ferry where we saw tons of dolphins. Thursday, we cooked a fabulous meal of fried turkey and all of the fixin's and pie. Friday, Grandma and Grandpa flew home. What a great time we all had!

I was really glad that Halloween fell on a Saturday this year. We carved a pumpkin in the afternoon and then went trick-or-treating with some friends from the neighborhood. The girls were wore out when the night was done, but they ended up getting lots of goodies.

We always love going to Sea World.. this year we spent a lot of time at the Dolphin Cove. We did not feed them, but got to get up close to them. We walked around the whole park, went to the Shamu "Believe" show, Addie and Ayla got to ride the Shamu Express (this was Ayla's first roller coaster ride), and they won some stuffed frogs. It was a perfect day.. a little busy, but just enough to wear the girls out.

Trunk-Or-Treat

The Sunday before Halloween our Church had a Trunk-Or-Treat for the kiddos.. They had games inside and the girls loved going from car to car in their costumes. We dressed our truck as Charlotte's Web.. (just in case you were wondering)
